Online gaming has become increasingly popular, with players like you engaging in thrilling experiences and enjoying various in-game features. However, sometimes you might encounter issues related to your deposits. One common concern is the appearance of a failed deposit attempt showing on your bank statement, even though the transaction did not go through. While this may be concerning, we can assure you that what you're seeing is a pre-authorized transaction.
So, what exactly is a pre-authorization? A pre-authorization occurs when the credit card company acknowledges that a transaction has been initiated but not completed. In response, they place the corresponding amount on hold until the transaction has either been confirmed as successful or failed by the merchant.
During the pre-authorization process, the transaction amount has not been billed to your card. Instead, it is temporarily deducted from your available balance; however since the transaction was not completed on our end (the merchant), the pre-authorization will generally take approximately 7-10 business days to be lifted. For gift cards, the process can sometimes take up to approximately 30 days.
